By now you'll know that we think our office is a pretty cool place to work... although we could of course be a little biased!

My folks stopped by the office one Friday afternoon on their way to spend a weekend with me; not unusual for them, they had a brew and some cake, said hi to everyone, commented on the fun bustle downstairs in the kitchen and the calm quiet upstairs in the office. And off they went to collect my boy from school.

On the Monday morning we found they'd left this behind on our blackboard...

"What a great place to work, you lucky people - Sarah's dad!"

So, there you have it!

Our Neil had a brainstorm this week, suggesting a big La Tasca cook-up for today :)

We spent yesterday talking through the menu and planning a trip to our local butchers... the final menu looked like this:

- Olives & bread

- Patatas Bravas (little roasted potatoes in the Bravas Sauce)

- Albóndigas a la Jardinera (meatballs in the Jardinera Sauce)

- Chicken & Chorizo in the Marbella Sauce

- Beef in the Pimenta Sauce

As you can see it was a fabulously colourful feast and we all filled our plates too fast to be caught clearly on camera - a very good sign!

You might be interested to know the total food bill was about £30 and 9 of us are feeling jolly full and just about ready for a well-earned siesta... Phil, is that OK with you? ;)

The sales team fancied a touch of sophistication this Friday so planned a little picnic…

... cherryade, pineapple and cheese on a stick and pink plates were some party-goer favourites, as well as Clair’s all-American popcorn!

To add a little something to what could have been any typical Friday feeling experience we popped on a couple of masks and let the good times (and e numbers) roll....!

I've been doing a little digging around this Fruit Club business; it's definitely not about soup! I managed to get hold of a full list of rules...

1st RULE: You do not talk about FRUIT CLUB.
2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FRUIT CLUB.
3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp the fruit is over.
4th RULE: Only two guys to a fruit.
5th RULE: One fruit at a time.
6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.
7th RULE: Fruit will go on as long as it has to.
8th RULE: If this is your first night at FRUIT CLUB, you HAVE to fruit.

But, for all the rules surrounding it, I can certainly tell that Fruit Club is a happy place...!
