Over a decade ago we saw a gap in the market. Nando’s produced a delicious range of Peri-Peri sauces for their restaurants, but they weren’t available to buy in the supermarket. Something needed to be done. So we set up The Grocery Company to take Nando’s products into retail, distributing sauces and marinades all over the UK. They have now become the UK’s market leading range of marinades and the most recognised brand of Peri-Peri sauce.
A few years later we bought the famous vegetarian brand Cranks, launching a comprehensive range of fresh and ambient products into supermarkets, canteens and food halls across the UK. Since then we began distribution of wagamama’s stir-fry marinades, and the PizzaExpress range of salad dressings, which we have just expanded to include passata and pasta sauces.
Back in 2008 we re-launched ourselves as All About Food – we feel it's a company identity which reflects our passion for food, as well as the mix of seriousness and fun that has helped make us so successful.
